To ensure products are usable by everyone, we are committed to WCAG 2.2 Level AA compliance across all components.

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2(opens in a new tab), developed by the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI), provide the benchmark framework:

  1. Level A

Addresses fundamental barriers—such as basic keyboard navigation—required for digital usability.

  2. Level AA
    target standard

Establishes strong contrast, readability, and predictable interaction, satisfying legal accessibility standards.

  3. Level AAA

The strictest compliance tier, featuring advanced requirements such as dedicated sign language interpretation.

Our components adhere to three core accessibility standards:

  1. ARIA patterns

Components implement standard W3C WAI-ARIA Authoring Practices(opens in a new tab) to deliver familiar, predictable interaction patterns for assistive technologies.

  2. Assistive technology support

Components feature full keyboard operability and structured screen reader announcements. Accessible labels and descriptions are required by default.

  3. Color contrast

Palettes are selected to meet minimum contrast ratios in both light and dark modes. For details, see the Colors & Themes documentation.
